May the Fourth be with You - 'Star Wars' Day Story

Yes, believe it or not there is a Star Wars Day - May the Fourth to be exact. And unless you've been living in a cave since the early 1970s, you'll have guessed that this comes from "May the Fourth be with you" - geditt!!! Yes, I know, very funny.

Anyhow, point is, my Star Wars parody story will be appearing in the May issue of Tempo magazine, an English language Abu Dhabi publication. The story, based on the fictional Cosmic Conflicts franchise, features characters such as Job-Job Winks, director Georgia Lewis and lead actress Carol Fletcher, the action largely revolving around an old couch.

I wonder what Douglas Adams would have made of it. Let's just hope no Star Wars fans get their hands on me; otherwise it'll be light sabres at dawn.
