I'm particularly pleased with this story since I believe it's one of the best short stories I've ever written - it still gives me goosebumps thinking about it.
A couple driving along a desert road find an abandoned vehicle with a bag of diamonds in the glove compartment - then their problems begin...
This is the first story I've written in a long time that I was 100% sure the editor would run. Let's just hope there will be more.
