I thought there could be nothing grander
than to visit UK for a gander.
But Border Force say
I’ve got no right to stay,
so instead I’ll be seeing Rwanda.
Although the limerick is satirical, I must say the idea of sending migrants on to Rwanda is rather cruel, especially considering many of those migrants choose the UK because they speak some English and Rwanda is a Francophile country.
