I don't usually write romance, but in this story there's an element of amore - although pedominantly the story aimed at the funny bone.
So what do you do if your other half is taking forever to get ready for an important dinner engagement where the CEO of your company will be present and you're expected to pitch new business ideas to the man? Do you leave your spouse and drive off alone? Do you furiously bang on the door shouting for him or her to hurry up?
In this case, the main character leaves his wife behind and both lives to regret and be thankful for his actions.
Well, that's all for this week, folks. Hopefully next week I'll have some breaking Canterbury tale news!
