The story is based on a true incident from Turkey, where a woman opened her door to a conman who claimed to be the Angel of Death. The only way the woman could avoid termination was to give the next person who passed her apartment, all her money and jewelry, which she subsequently did.
Needless to say, when her husband came home and was told what had happened, he wasn't too chuffed.
Of course in my version of the story, all is not as it seems and the con men duly get their comeuppance.
