In the story, just like in the film, we have vengeance, a gang of down-and-outs and an arrogant character who looks down his nose at his audience.
The story also touches on the subject of sock puppetry, whereby some authors have been giving their own books glowing reviews, even setting up websites in praise of themselves (though not giving away it is them that set up the websites, and even viciously trolling those who dare to expose their nefarious activities.
What I enjoyed most about working on this story was going back to my roots as a crime fiction writer.
Well, back to the grind.
