Bruce, the Genie My humorous short story, When Jenny Met Bruce, has just been published in the Winter 2014 issue of the Australian magazine That's Life! Fast Fiction (it's winter in Australia, by the way).
The story concerns a girl, Jenny, in the Australian outback who discovers a magic lamp. The genie that emerges, Bruce, who is desperately trying to fit in with his new surroundings, grants the habitual three wishes.
Of course all doesn't go as planned!
